My piece A Work of Art for Every Entry in Index—Subjects—Library of Congress has been included in a special journal issue titled Astonishment.

The journal originates from the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts, Poznan, Poland with cooperation from the University of Alabama and Harvard University. It was edited by professors Marysia Galbraith, Grzegorz Keczmerski, and Janusz Marciniak.

I’m happy to have my piece A Work of Art for Every Entry in Index—Subjects—Library of Congress included in the New Appalachia exhibit at the Vestige Concept Gallery in Pittsburgh. The exhibit was curated by Kyle Houser with the Pittsburgh Center For The Arts, and runs through May 31.
Other artists featured in the exhibit include Sarah Black-Sadler, Noah Emhurt, Lars Westby, Jenny Wu, Bob Ziller, Tara Verkuil, Jack Straton, George Lorio, Kiel Fletcher, John Armstrong, Sandy Kessler-Kaminski, Sabrina Kindervater, Aimee Manion, Cyane Tornatsky, Bat St. Chip, Jason Padaetz, and Brandin Baron.

Hank Lazer and I will perform tonight as part of the New Orleans Poetry Festival. Our improvisations for banjo with poetry will include selections from Hank’s forthcoming book, field recordings of mind in morning, along with selections from our previous work together.
