I finally sent out all my cards for this years Plotter Postcard exchange. The design features algorithmically generated bridges viewed from various angles. I’m working on other plots using this bridge module–so keep an eye out for more.

Sound artist, media artist and composer for both humans and computers. So much banjo, too
It’s Epiphany, the last day of Christmas, so it’s my last chance this season to share the Composer’s Voice Holiday Show presented by Vox Novus.
My banjo tune “Shepherd’s Crook” kicks it off. Stay tuned for vocal music, chamber music, arrangements of holiday favorites, and even a piece by Stockhausen!
Sad to hear that composer Tom Johnson has died. His Illustrated Music playlist is full of delights.
I’m beginning a new sonification project in collaboration with Dr. Alyssa Stubbers and the Alabama Materials Institute (AMI). We will sonify electron microscope diffraction patterns of various materials. I’ll post sounds and images as the work develops.
The two-year project is funded through a partnership between AMI and the Collaborative Arts Research Initiative (CARI).
I’m thrilled to have been invited to work on the Terreno Tejido de Piel project that culminates tomorrow with an installation and performance at Maxwell Hall on the campus of the University of Alabama. The project is led by UA Assistant Professor of Scenic Design Soledad Sanchez Valdez with Peruvian guest artists Cecilia Borasino (choreography/dance) and Alejandra Ortiz de Zevallos (sculpture/fiber arts). I’m providing sound for the installation and performance.
